"India is a country of festival."
Introduction : A festival comes to refresh our mind and gives new energy to live. A celebration of festival is something new to daily life. There are many festivals in India such as Diwali, Holi, Teej, Mahashivratry, Krishna Janmastamy etc. Therefore India is called a country of festival. Diwali is one of them. Diwali is my favorite festival. Diwali is a festival of light means happiness.
Why we celebrate Diwali ? : Diwali is celebrated in the month of kartik in the honour of Shri Ramchandra. When he came back to Ayodhya, Dipawalil was celebrated. Anothor reason is that Lord Vishnu freed goddess Laxmi fromthe prison of Raja Bali. Therfore goddess Laxmi worshipped today.
About Diwali festival : In Diwali festival, the houses are white washed, they are decorated by many decoration items and colorful lights. We put on new clothes. We worship goddess Laxmi. We distribute sweets to children and everyone. We visit our relatives and burn crackers.
Importance of Diwali festival : Diwali is a festival of great importance. In Diwali festival, the traders change their khatas new accounts are maintain. The houses are white washed, they are decorated. People feel happiness. Monotony of working is change by this celebration.
Conclusion : Many people play gambling and lost their money in Diwali festival. Some children get injuries by burning crackers. After all these Indian festivals, Diwali is a festival of a great importance. It maintain the unity of nation. Every Indian celebrate it with show. It is awaited.
